Raspberries contain anti-oxidant vitamins like vitamin A, and vitamin E. In addition to the above-mentioned antioxidants, is also rich in several other health promoting flavonoid poly phenolic antioxidants such as lutein, zea-xanthin, and β-carotene in small amounts. Altogether, these compounds help act as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species that play a role in aging and various disease processes.
Raspberries contain a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, copper, iron and magnesium. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase. Copper is required in the production of red blood cells.
They are rich in B-complex group of vitamins and vitamin K. The berries contain very good amounts of vitamin B-6, niacin, riboflavin, and folic acid. These vitamins are function as co-factors and help body in the metabolism of carbohydrates, protein and fats.

When preparing your food, feel love fill every cell of your body and repeat the juicy affirmation below. When you eat in a relaxed state focused purely on the joy of eating, you stimulate your metabolism, digestion and nutrient absorption. Really try to be present, keeping your mind focused on eating and nothing else. Experience the taste beyond your mouth and allow it to be a whole of body experience. Ooohh la la… Take your time. Life will be waiting for you when you’re done, I promise!
☺ Trust your body and indulge in the chocolatey pleasure.Chant this affirmation even if you feel silly! Having fun and being playful are nutrients too. Fall in love with nourishing food that puts you in a super mood.
and transforming my body. I am delicious, radiant and energised.
2 cups 100% whey protein powder. I use the Fundies brand.
NOTE: Do not use a flavoured brand of protein powder. You could also
substitute with Hemp Protein powder, rich in fibre, 21 amino acids and
omega 3 fatty acids with a fabulous nutty flavor. Yummy!
2 cups of shredded organic coconut
3 tablespoons of coconut oil at room temperature. You may need to melt it
on the stove for a minute on LOW heat and then allow it to cool for about
10 minutes before adding to your mix. This is not necessary in spring or
summer but in the cooler months when coconut oil tends to become solid.
¾ of a cup of coconut milk
Simply pop all ingredients into a bowl, except only add about ½ a cup of coconut milk at this stage. Knead with hands as if you were making bread, but you’re not of course! Then slowly add a little more coconut milk as you go. You want to avoid the mixture becoming too moist. If you have a blender, you can use that instead but make sure you only put the speed on low to medium. Once you’ve combined all the ingredients, you should have a massive big chocolate ball. Lay out some non-stick baking paper onto a thin baking tray and place the mixture about an inch in height on top. I just use my fingers. It’s not very glamorous but, hey, it’s kind of pretty cool to be able to lick your fingers guilt free! Using a smaller tray makes it easy to spread out and quick to cut and remove when ready. Place in fridge for about 20 minutes. Cut into squares. Easy.
I am thankful for this divine chocolate Bodylove’n goodness.
I am nourished, loved and beautiful.
Enjoy!
Remember to focus on radiance and pleasure, NOT weight loss.
Much BodyLove,
Ingrid Arna xo
